Toasted Belgian Waffles with Warm Spiced Blueberries and Ricotta
20g Western Star Butter
2 tblsp brown sugar
300g fresh or frozen blueberries
1/2 tsp cinnamon
8 belgian style waffles
500g Perfect Italiano Ricotta
icing sugar and cinnamon, for dusting
Western Star Salted ButterPerfect Italiano Ricotta
Melt Western Star Butter and sugar in a small non-stick frypan over medium heat. Add blueberries and cinnamon and cook, stirring, for 1-2 minutes until the blueberries have warmed through and sauce is syrupy.
Toast waffles, divide between serving plates and top with Perfect Italiano Ricotta and blueberries. Dust with icing sugar and cinnamon to serve.
